英語演講稿的格式及范文

　　從大的方面看，英語演講稿實際上屬于特殊的說明文或議論文，其基本組成成分是：

　　(1)開始時對聽眾的稱呼語

　　最常用的是 Ladies and gentlemen，也可視不同情況選用 Fellow students, Distinguished guests, Mr Chairman, Honorable Judges(評委)等等。

　　(2)提出論題

　　由于演講時間限制，必須開門見山，提出論題。提出論題的方法多種多樣，但最生動，最能引起注意的是用舉例法。比如：你要呼吁所有人關注貧困山區的小孩，你可以用親眼看到的或者收集到的那些貧窮孩子多么需要幫助的事實開始。另外，用具體的統計數據也是一個有效的引出論題的方法，比如：你要談遵守交通規則的話題，你可以從舉一系列有關車輛、車禍等的數據開始。

　　(3)論證

　　對提出的論題，不可主觀地妄下結論，而要進行客觀的論證。這是演講中最需要下功夫的部分。關鍵是要把道理講清楚。常見的論證方法有舉例法、因果法、對比法等等，可參見英語議論文的有關章節。

　　(4)結論

　　結論要簡明扼要，以給聽眾留下深刻印象。

　　(5)結尾

　　結尾要簡潔，不要拉拉扯扯，說個沒完。特別是不要受漢語影響，說些類似“準備不足，請諒解”，“請批評指正”這樣的廢話。最普通的結尾就是：Thank you very much for your attention。

　　Ladies and Gentlemen , Good afternoon! I'm very glad to stand here and give you a short speech. today my topic is “youth”。I hope you will like it , and found the importance in your youth so that more cherish it.

　　First I want to ask you some questions:

　　1、Do you know what is youth?

　　2、How do you master your youth?

　　Youth

　　Youth is not a time of life, it is a state of mind ; it is not rosy cheeks , red lips and supple knees, it is a matter of the emotions : it is the freshne; it is the freshneof the deep springs of life .

　　Youth means a temperamental predominance of courage over timidity of the appetite , for adventure over the love of ease. This often exists in a man of 60 more than a boy of 20 . Nobody grows old merely by a number of years . We grow old by deserting our ideals.

　　Years wrinkle the skin , but to give up enthusiasm wrinkles the soul . Worry , fear , self –distrust bows the heart and turns the spirit back to dust .

　　Whether 60 of 16 , there is in every human being 's heart the lure of wonders, the unfailing childlike appetite of what's next and the joy of the game of living . In the center of your heart and my heart there's a wirelestation : so long as it receives messages of beauty , hope ,cheer, courage and power from men and from the infinite, so long as you are young .

　　When the aerials are down , and your spirit is covered with snows of cynicism and the ice of pessimism, then you are grown old ,even at 20 , but as long as your aerials are up ,to catch waves of optimism , there is hope you may die young at 80.

　　A man who lived in a block of apartments thought it was raining and put his head out the window to check. As he did so a glass eye fell into his hand.

　　He looked up to see where it came from in time to see a young woman looking down.

　　"Is this yours?" he asked.

　　She said, "Yes, could you bring it up?" and the man agreed.

　　On arrival she was profuse in her thanks and offered the man a drink. As she was very attractive he agreed. Shortly afterwards she said, "I'm about to have dinner. There's plenty. Would you like to join me?"

　　He readily accepted her offer and both enjoyed a lovely meal. As the evening was drawing to a close the lady said, "I've had a marvelous evening. Would you like to stay the night?"

　　The man hesitated then said, "Do you act like this with every man you meet?"

　　"No," she replied, "Only those who catch my eye."
