Good morning ladies and gentlemen, teachers and my fellow friends. The title of the speech that i‘m going to talk about is on money and health. Now as you see, we have a society where people just concentrate on earning money to pay off their mortgage, credit cards, holiday expanses etc, most of them fail to notice the gradual decline in their health. To them money is much much more important than health. As it says, " money is the root of all evil." I agree with it. Therefore, it is now time for us to watch out for our health and treasure our body! Thank you!

Different people have different attitudes towards money.For example, some of the rich are very mean with their money, while some of them are quite generous. Some people lack of money but they are not absorbed in pursuit of wealth while some people regard money as everything. As far as I am concerned, money is necessary for all of us, but it is not all for us.
不同的人對(duì)于金錢持有不同的態(tài)度。比如說，有些有錢人花錢很吝嗇，而有些則很慷慨。有些人缺錢用但不沉迷于追求財(cái)富，而有些人則把金錢視為一切。在我看來，金錢對(duì)于我們是必需的，但金錢不是我們的全部。
For one thing, money is necessary for all of us. In modern society, money is one of tools for measure the value and can be used to exchange materials. All materials we need for our basic existence is all about money. Without money, our existence will be threatened and we can not find our way to live. Therefore, all of us need to earn money to afford us and our family basic needs, such as food, clothes and house.
一方面，金錢對(duì)我們來說是必需的。在現(xiàn)代社會(huì)，金錢是衡量?jī)r(jià)值的工具之一，并且可以用來交換物質(zhì)資料。我們生存所必需的所有物質(zhì)資料都和金錢有關(guān)。沒有金錢，我們的生存就會(huì)受到威脅，我們就沒法生活。因此，我們所有人都需要學(xué)會(huì)賺錢來提供基本的生活需求，比如食物，衣服和房子。
For another, money is not all for us. Though money can be used to exchange our basic needs, it is not almighty. For example, we cannot use money to buy a real love or ability with money. Hence, just as the saying goes, “money is good servant but a bad master”. We cannot be controlled by money so that we will not be a pathetic slave of money.
另一方面，金錢不是我們的全部。雖然金錢可以用來交換我們的基本需求，但它不是萬能的。比如說，我們用金錢買不到一段真摯的愛，買不到真正的能力。因此，正如俗話所說：“人要支配錢，不要叫錢支配人”。我們不能被金錢所控制，這樣我們才不會(huì)淪為金錢的奴隸。
In short, we need money but we should not regard money as our only purpose. Only hold this attitude can we use our money properly.
