　　之所以被選為英語組長，是因為她對英語這門功課非常喜歡，而且，她的英語成績一直都很好。

　　作為英語組長，她的工作責任心很強、工作效率也很高。每當老師要求收英語作業時，幾乎每次她都是第一個把我們組的英語作業本交到老師手上，經常受到老師的表揚。只是有一次，我們組有一個同學的英語課堂作業做了好長時間還沒完成，這時候，席光玲就像釘子一樣盯在他后面。這個同學說：“我的大組長，別跟在我后面了，你先把作業本交給老師吧，我馬上就寫好了，寫好之后我自己交給老師。”“不行，既然選我做組長，我就要對工作負責，我們組的作業沒有收齊，怎么能交給老師呢？”“好好好，別講了，我服了你，我抓緊做就是了。”這次收作業，雖然她不是第一個把作業本交給老師的，但她并沒有不高興，因為她把我們組的作業本一本不拉地交給了老師。
