早上，我被一種咿咿哎哎的聲音吵醒了，起來一看，原來是坐在客廳里媽媽聽英語光盤。我走過去問：“媽媽，你為什么在聽英語呀？”媽媽告訴我：“英語是一種國際語言，無論兩個相隔多么遙遠，不管他們在何時何地相遇，只要他倆都會說英語，他們之間就能溝通，就能互相交流，所以說學好英語是必要的'。”聽了媽媽的話，我真的弄不明白，不要說用英語說話，現在我連聽CD里的英語對話，我一句話都聽不明白，怎么學呀？媽媽又說：“一次、兩次聽不明白沒關系，只要在聽得過程中認真地聽，輕輕地跟著哼，聽的次數多了，你就會慢慢聽懂了，就學會說了。”我明白了，我想起我的英語老師——陳老師，她開始教我們背英語短句時，最初我也聽不懂，后來聽多了，也終于學會聽和讀了。以后我要多跟媽媽一起好好學習英語。
