初中第一節英語課是我首次開始學習英語的時候，這節課是我們的班主任徐老師教我們的。
徐老師是個高挑的身材女老師，那時她還沒結婚呢。不過，教學嚴厲是她的風格，用刀子嘴豆腐心來形容她也許沒錯。
徐老師的英語課，起立后，我們會用英語喊徐老師好，雖然我覺得那句英語翻譯是徐小姐好，但我和大家都人人迷不悟的樣子，我們做一天和尚撞一天中，上一天徐老師的英語課就這么喊。
上課后，徐老師講完一部分總是要提問的，她習慣讓同學們從前往后一個個回答，第一個回答后，她就用英語喊下一個，每當聽到“下一個”那個單詞，我就心里發慌，我想大家也是一樣的感受吧。
英語課默寫單詞是眾所周知的事情，一次，上課，八百年沒被叫到的我被喊起來去黑板上默寫單詞，奇怪的`是，這次讓默寫的數字一二三四這一類的英語我全都寫對了，回去心中驚喜，哎呀竟然可以全對！
不過平時，更多的是默寫出問題的，徐老師經常會讓我們去辦公室，去默寫單詞、去背書、去訂正作業等，她最常說的好像是：“這個我講過沒？這我都講了多少遍了，你們怎么就記不住呢！”她偶爾會抓著同學們的耳朵，更多的是用她那可怕的言語說我們，那言語和表情，可是要殺了的樣子！
雖然徐老師很嚴厲的樣子，但她確實很少打我們，平時很關心我們，尤其是當我在辦公室被數學老師打的時候哭了的那次，她在身旁安慰我不要哭，那瞬間的溫柔充滿了母性的光輝。
我們就這樣，每天在徐老師嚴厲的管教下學習英語，英語進步很快，期末我的英語考試應該是全年級第一名了！然而，徐老師要請假回家結婚了，這時她離開我們，離開了這個班級，以后偶爾也看到過她一兩次，但是從此，徐老師就再也沒有教過我們班級英語了，一種突然的失落和默默的傷感在心中出現了。

有一次我因為作業太多沒有來得及寫英語作業，那個時候我覺得寫不寫都沒有什么所謂，所以就沒有多在意，但是英語老師知道班里只有我一個人沒有完成她布置的她認為很簡單的作業，一氣之下把我叫到了辦公室對我進行教育，老師告訴我學習英語的重要性，讓我明白了許多關于學習英語的好處，我那個時候才發現原來英語那么的重要，并且老師想要幫助我學習英語，因為她認為女孩子學習英語會容易一點，只要我肯下功夫，聽到老師這樣的話語，我心里也暗暗的為自己鼓勁，覺得自己是可以的，從那時開始我就開始了特別勤奮的學習英語之路。
以前我從來都不記英語單詞，現在我每天早上都會比以前起早一個小時來記憶英語單詞，因為單詞是基礎，現在學的'記的單詞都不多，等到以后更加多了，所以我打算在現在開始就記多一點，以后學習英語就會簡單一點，我每次在記單詞的時候都會特別的開心，因為我覺得很容易就記住了，以前覺得難就是因為自己不喜歡英語，沒有重視英語，現在我覺得學習英語其實挺簡單的，雖然年級高了，英語的難度也會加大，但是我覺得只要自己努力，沒有什么是困難的。
現在我對于學習英語特別的感興趣，也特別的喜歡并且感謝自己的英語老師，因為她的鼓勵讓我的英語成績上升了許多，不再是英語差生了，學習英語真的特別的好玩。
