今天，我們學校舉行了一次英語合唱比賽，結果只得了第三名，想要知道是怎么回事嗎？這還要從進場說起。
“同學們，我們要進場了，脫掉外套。”聽到口令，早就躍躍欲試的我們馬上站了起來，排好隊伍，向后臺走去，到了后臺，只見其他班的同學都在聽班主任的最后幾句叮嚀，王老師隨即也說了幾句，之后就要等我們上場了。
我們懷著緊張的`心情，上了臺，面對著人山人海，心跳得更快了，原本生疏的歌，唱到后來就流暢了，這時，我突然發現周圍的人都沒在做動作，我看見人家沒做，我也就沒做“怎么辦，這樣唱會得倒數第一的”
突然，發生了一個意外，唱到第二首開頭竟然出了差錯，我們聲音慢了下來，似乎每個人都在搜索開頭的詞語，我眉頭緊鎖，那首歌好像在我腦海里像放電影一樣放著，不一會兒，便極力搜到了那句話，漸漸恢復了狀態。唱著唱著，時間一分一秒過去了，隨著音樂的結束，我們也下了臺。
走下臺時，我心里一直希望，希望拿個第三名，因為第一名是不可能了，第二名也算了，一定要第三名，其他人似乎也和我一樣，一下臺就抱怨，怎么動作沒做的一類話，如果時間能逆轉，我肯定會邊唱邊做動作，真不甘心。如果第四名可就慘了，一格黑格啊！
成績終于下來了，果然，如我們所愿第三名，每個人都在心里默默的叫了一聲“耶”

長城的寬度足以讓五匹馬或十個人并排走。沿著墻的是瞭望塔，士兵們常常在那里守望。當敵人到來時，在塔上點燃了火作為警告。
在古代沒有任何現代機器的情況下，很難建造這樣一堵墻。所有的工作都是手工完成的。成千上萬的人死了，被埋在他們建造的城墻下。長城不僅是由石頭和泥土建成的，而且是幾百萬人的血肉所組成的'。

到了暑假，媽媽又幫我報了一個初一英語預習班，放假第一天我正在新圖書館里與好朋友讀書，突然媽媽沖了進來啦，拉起我就走，我連忙問媽媽，媽媽含糊的說了句：“英語開始了。”我只能跟朋友們告別，戀戀不舍中帶著生氣——放假第一天就學英語，真討厭！
到了英語班，我發現胡老師講課真的很有趣，在我眼里一個個生硬的單詞變成了一個個小小可愛的精靈，一個個音標，單詞，字母都有趣了起來，從此枯萎的英語成了最有趣的一個學科了。
