　　I once saw sunrise. It was very amazing and beautiful.The night before, we lived in the top of mountain.About 4 p.m., we went out of the tent. It was so dark outside that we could not see anything.It was very quiet and seemed that everything was sleeping.About twenty minutes later, the sky turned to white slowly.And we can see the outline of mountains.Suddenly, the clouds turned to brighten and slowly, the sun rised slowly.It was red, but after it appeared totally, it became golden.Its light irradiated to everywhere.The sky was totally golden and it was really beautiful.

　　我曾經看過日出，景色很驚奇很美。前天晚上，我們到山頂過夜。大約四點的時候，我們走出帳篷，外面一片漆黑，什么也看不到。周圍很安靜，好像萬物都在沉睡。大約過了20分鐘，天空開始慢慢變白。我們可以看到山的`輪廓。突然，云朵漸漸地變得明亮起來，太陽緩緩升起。開始它是紅色的，但是它完全升起后就變成金色的了。它的光芒照射到每一個角落。天空完全變成了金色的，甚是好看。

　　英語一直是我最頭痛的一門功課。因為在我看來有無數個毫無規律的英語單詞要背誦，還有那莫名其妙的聽力，都令我煩惱不已。但這學期我發現我似乎對這門討厭的功課產生了興趣。

　　事情的起因是爸爸出差到北京，給我帶回了一臺讀書郎英語同步讀書機。我立刻被它漂亮的外表吸引住了，因為它像一臺高檔的筆記本電腦。打開讀書機，左邊是音標，分為元音、輔音；右邊是26個英語字母。最大的好處是它可以下載我上課用的PEP教材。媽媽讓我打開英語課本，翻到第1頁，把讀書機中的頁碼調至相同頁碼，我再用那神奇的信號筆一點，點到哪兒，讀書機就發出標準的讀音，點第二遍時它就譯出這個單詞的中文含義，真是太神奇了！

　　剛開始幾天，我每天一放學就抱著這臺讀書郎，漸漸地新鮮勁也就過去了。媽媽看準了時機，立即調動我的.積極性，把老師當天教的英語單詞分批教我，并慢慢告訴我這個字母在單詞中所發的音。這樣，日積月累，慢慢地我對有些字母的發音規律也有所掌握。正像媽媽所說的那樣，一旦你會讀準這個單詞，那么這個單詞的一半已被記住，只要稍一用心，就可記住全部。媽媽告訴我：學習英語要循序漸進，因為記憶會衰減，所以學單詞時，先學一遍，過一會兒復習一遍，到第二天再復習一遍，一星期、一個月內再次復習，這樣能把短期記憶變成長期記憶。這種方法叫作思馬德記憶。按照媽媽所說的方法，我試了一下。哎，果真有效果！漸漸地我對背誦單詞有點竅門了。這個學期六個單元所要求的四會單詞，我全部做到了會聽、說、讀、寫。

　　因為背誦單詞有了明顯的進步，得到了老師的表揚，我的學習熱情倍增，對聽力也產生了興趣�，F在我拿到聽力課文，不象以前那樣手忙腳亂，而是先把課文、圖案看一遍。如果是選擇題，我會看清圖案，了解這幾幅圖的大致含義，再聽錄音。我現在能抓住幾個重點詞語與圖案進行對照，基本能做到準確無誤。對閱讀也同樣，抓住幾個關鍵詞語和下面的問題進行對照。

　　以上幾點僅是我對學習英語的幾點體會。同學們，你們是不是也和以前的我一樣，對學習英語非常頭痛，其實不用害怕，只要堅持不懈，今天記不住的單詞明天再記，反反復復，我相信你一定會成功。讓我們一起努力，共同進步吧！

Of all these foods it could not be omitted from the Mid-Autumn Festival.

　　The round moon cakes measuring about three inches in diameter and one and a half inches in thickness resembled Western fruitcakes in taste and consistency. These cakes were made with melon seeds lotus seeds almonds minced meats.
