　　my favourite hobbies are reading and writing.when i was young, i was not fond of them . for a little child , reading and writing were boring but my teacher encouraged me to try to write down my feelings after reading something. so i had a try.at the beginning, there were only a few sentences on my notebook ,but i used to read them to my parents or classmates.

　　it gave me enormous satisfaction and pleasure to be able to touch the lives of others with words because their respoonse gave me hope .good-selfesteen and pride inmy abilities. reading and writing have helped me to give my life meaning. now i am a high school student, i donot have much time to read and write. but words are at the very heart of my hobbies, and i am very happy that i can write in English. in the future, reading and writing will be a funny way of my life.

　　I like to collect many things, such as nice stones, names of movies, books,toys, photos of famous people. But I like collecting stamps best. I have been collecting stamps for five years. When I was very young, my uncle sent me a stamp from Australia. I loved it at once. Since then I tried to collect stamps and fell in love with it. I have more than one hundred stamps. Some were sent by my friends, some were collected by myself; some were from foiregn countries, some were Chinese. I like them. Often, I take them out and show them to my friends.

　　今年暑假非常熱，一天哥哥和我一起去游泳. 我們換過衣服后跳進游泳池。池里有許多人，我是多么想加入他們的行列啊!可我不會游泳，所以哥哥先教我如何劃水和如何在水中換氣，然后他在水中用胳膊托著我讓我浮在水面上。然后我試著自己游，我游了一段才發現哥哥已不在身邊了.我停下來，結果嗆了一口水.哥哥游向我，說："太棒了，你會游泳了。"那天我們一直游到游泳池關門才極不情愿地離開。

　　In the first place, reading is absolutely a good choice to kill time indoor. I think I don’t need to emphasize the importance of reading as everybody knows. Look back our daily life, how many people have time to read now and then? Why don’t we just catch this chance to kill time and enhance ourselves? Secondly, playing games with families or friends is beneficial. Most people would stay at home in the rainy days. At this time they can play games, such as, play cards and Truth Or Dare. Those games are interesting and helpful for their relationship with each other. Last but not least, it is a good chance for talking. In the usual time, maybe it is hard to find a chance to have a nice talk with your family, because everyone is so busy. Rainy day provides a chance for you. You can sit down and have a nice talk to learn each other better. You will feel time flies when you doing these.

　　首先，看書絕對是在家消磨時間的好方法。我覺得讀書的好處就不用我再強調了吧。回顧一下我們的日常生活，有多少人是偶爾有時間看看書的？為什么我們就不能抓住這個機會，既消磨時間又提升自我。第二，跟家人或朋友玩游戲是很有益的。大部分人雨天都是呆在家里的。這個時候他們可以一起玩游戲，比如，打牌，真心話大冒險。這鞋游戲都是很有趣也有助于增進彼此的關系。最后但并非最不重要的，這也是談心的好機會。平時，也許很難找到機會跟你的家人好好聊聊，因為大家都很忙。雨天就提供了這么一個機會。大家可以坐下來好好的談談心更加的了解彼此。在做這些事情的時候你肯定會覺得時間飛逝。
