Furthermore, with the rapid growth of the world population, the rising demand for water by industry, and the serious pollution of our surroundings, the world is facing the ganger of running out of fresh water. Actually, in some big cities, fresh water can not meet the daily needs.

　　Therefore, to find new ways to save water is an urgent task. First, we should pass strict laws to control any waste of water. Second, scientists must work even harder to purify sea water, and try to find substitute to reduce the use of fresh water.

　　when it comes to private cars,, it goes without saying that they bring us obvious advantages. it is generally thought that there are all kinds of benefits with private cars. to begin with, they are so convenient that we can drive them to any place at any time; in the second place (on the other hand), with private cars, our life will be bettered and our work efficiency will be improved; what’s more, owning a car symbolizes that you are a successful person in professional world; last but not the least, …therefore , private cars have great significance in our life.

　　just as a coin has two sides/on the contrary, the disadvantages resulted from… can’t be ignored. the defects of private cars can be listed as follows: on one hand, more private cars lead to deteriorated environment and noise pollution; on another hand, traffic accidents owe much to the increase of private cars; besides / moreover / furthermore, private cars contribute to serious energy crisis because of their large consumption of petroleum.

　　my attitude towards it is that i prefer the above mentioned positive effects/advantages of/ brought by private cars overweigh the negative effects/disadvantages. i have at least two basic reasons to prove my point of view. first of all, the reason on which i base my idea is that more private cars will help to develop our national automobile industry and national economy. at the same time, if drastic measures are adopted to avoid the disadvantages brought by cars, we may have a more bright future. that’s why i’m in favor of the idea mentioned in the 1st paragraph.

　　After then,he began to make money by selling newspapers and fruits when he was only 12.Although Edison wasn't a student anymore,he still loved reading books and learning. He always used the money he made to but many scientific books and got interested in science in this way. His diligence in study lay a good foundation for his great success. In 1878,Edison began to research in the light bulb. He spent about two years using thousands of materials make thousands of experiments to choose the best material for the light bulb. Finally,Edison created the light bulb and became one of the greatest scientists in the world. His diligence in working leads to his great success. Anyone who always turns round and round in situ but admires other's success is daydreaming,so we should be aware of that we should keep studying hard and working hard. 　　When we go on a business trip, we will be faced with the choice of traveling by train or by plane. Before making the right choice，we had better make a close comparison and contrast of them.

　　First of all, a train will take us to our target railway station. Also, a plane will take us to the target airport， Second, in a train we can enjoy the beautiful scenery of the countryside. Likewise, in a plane we can command a good view of fields, buildings, mountains and even plains of clouds.

　　Despite these similarities, they differ in the following aspects. First, a train ticket is cheap. Most of us can afford it.However, a plane ticket is about twice as expensive as a train ticket. Most of us grudge paying for it. Besides, it is safer to travel by train. If the train gets into some trouble, we may survive by jumping out of it. On the contrary, if we travel by plane, we have to ask God to bless us. However, it takes us longer time to travel by train than by plane.

　　Therefore, it depends which transportation tool we should choose. If we just want to save money，we will travel by train; but if we want to save time, we will turn to the plane.
