　　我今年八歲了，是黑芝麻胡同小學一名一年級的小學生，過了暑假就要升入二年級了。剛入學的時候，媽媽就給我報了英語課程班，開始我不太喜歡學英語，課前不預習，也不按老師要求點讀，根本達不到老師的要求，學不好英語，我自己也很著急。

　　有一天放學回家，媽媽催我趕快點讀當天的課程，我沒有照做。于是，爸爸讓我翻開課本讀一讀，我根本讀不出來，大部分單詞都不會，爸爸也著急了。正好要放寒假了，我決心把英語趕上去。每天，我早晨起來后就一遍一遍地點讀課文，然后背單詞，最后達到熟讀課文的水平。經過幾天的努力，終于把一個單元的.內容學會了，有時候累得真想哭呀！就這樣，我堅持每一個上午的英語學習，不到一個月，就把一個學期的內容都學會了。

　　第二學期開始了，我明顯能夠跟上老師的進度了，每天堅持點讀、背誦課文。一共進行了三次考試，我從第十一名逐漸提升到了第三名，老師還專門讓我向全班同學介紹學習經驗。

　　一年級結束后，我被分到了精品班，現在我每次課堂聽寫、讀書、背誦都很熟練，我也真正地喜歡上了英語。俗話說：“世上無難事，只怕有心人”。只要能夠堅持，就一定能學好英語。
