　　周五早上，英語李老師幫我和其他4個同學報了學校的英語興趣班，我知道了非常高興，李老師微笑著對我說：“假如你非常想上英語班，那得靠自己的努力，不是所有人都能選上的喲，因為有一輪小小的淘汰賽！”我聽李老師這么一說，原本高興的心情馬上就收了幾分，還感覺到心跳加快了些。

　　午休的時候，我正在津津有味的看書，有位老師走進教室說：“請報上英語班的同學去報告廳集合。”哎呀！我都快忘了英語選拔這件事兒了！我那小小的心臟頓時緊張得像巖漿漫延開來。我和幾個同學一起來到了報告廳，只見兩個老外在向我們招手哩！接著老外開始和我們挨個的用英語交流，看著前面同學有順利過關(guān)的，我也跟著一起開心，而沒有通過的同學垂頭喪氣，我莫名的心里直打鼓。

　　終于輪到我了，給我測試的外國老師是位黑人，很熱情開朗，他用英語簡單的.和我對話交流，剛開始我因為有些小緊張，沒聽清老師說的英文意思，沒想到老師竟然用中文告訴我，我馬上流利的回答，接下來我都能非常自然的和外國老師對話交談，我發(fā)現(xiàn)淘汰賽其實并沒有想像的那么恐怖呀！測試結(jié)束，在焦急的等待中，結(jié)果終于出來了！如我所愿，我真的被選上啦！我好興奮哦！

　　這次英語選拔賽對我來說真是一件很有意義的事，媽媽常說，機會是給有準備的人，我覺得在這次選拔賽中真的用到了，以后我會更用心的學習英語！
