i went to the supermarket the other day with 10 yuan. i was a bit hungry, so i decided to buy a small pack of cookies which cost me 4 yuan. after i ate them, i was still hungry, so i decided to buy a small bag of potato chips which cost me another 3 yuan. after i ate them both, i was no longer hungry.
however, i was very thirsty and wanted to buy a large bottle of milk to drink, but i didn’t have enough money left because even a small bo of milk would cost me 2 yuan and i needed 2 yuan to pay the bus fare. so i gave it up at last.

"It is high time" 打頭，為該句增色。注：that 后跟虛擬語氣，后跟動詞的一般過去式，表示“是某人做……的時候了”或者“是某人不做……的時候了”
2、It is time to take the advice of ... and to put special emphasis on the improvement of ... 該是采納……的建議，并對……的進展給予非常重視的'時候了。
去掉一個"high"，畫風完全不一樣，不用過去式，只需用"to do"來替代。
3、There is no doubt that enough concern must be paid to the problem of ... 毫無疑問，對……問題應予以足夠的重視。
"there is no doubt that"+被動還是蠻經典的組合。
4、Obviously,.... If we want to do something... , it is essential that... 顯然，如果我們想做某事，我們需要……
這句有些老生常談，稍微不“�！钡木褪�"essential" 替代了"important"。
5、Only in this way can we... 只有這樣,我們才能...
Only+倒裝，經典萬能句式，還能看出點水平呢。
6、It must be realized that... 我們必須意識到...
把人人都會的"I realized"升格為被動語態，省略了主語，監考老師絕對會眼前一亮的!

bicycle riding is especially good for health. it is good eercise. if you go to work by riding a bicycle instead of driving or taking a bus, you can have a better chance of getting enough eercise you need everyday. bicycling is also good for our environment. it is less noisy and does not pollute the air. i am glad to have ridden a bicycle to school when i studied in the high school.
