　　Nowadays,western festivals become more and more popular in China, especially among us college students. But whether we should celebrate these festivals has aroused a heated discussion.

　　Some regard it a precious opportunity for the Chinese to learn more about western cultures. On the other hand, more and more Chinese people view it oppositely. Since more and more young people have lost their interest in our traditional festivals, such as Mid-autumn Festival, Dragon-boat Festival, and even Spring Festival. They seem to be more willing to celebrate Christmas.

　　In my opinion, every coin has two sides. Since the globalization is impossible to avoid this mix of cultures and traditions. We should preserve the traditional Chinese culture as well as welcome Western ones. We students undertake the responsibility to carry on our traditions, therefore, we have to respect them and cherish them.

　　這天，伴隨雪花輕快的腳步，我懷著激動的心情來到了育英二外。

　　在老師的帶領下，我們來到了一間教室。在這里，我認識了外教billy，跟著他，我們玩了許多英文游戲，英文單詞接龍、站立和坐下……我們在這些游戲中，不僅玩得很開心，也學了很多英文單詞，這真是一舉兩得呀!

　　接著，我們出了教室，參觀起了育英二外。雖然外面雪花飄飛，但我們依然興致勃勃。在參觀過程中，我們也在學習英語單詞。因為每個教室的標牌上，不但有中文，還有英文呢，休息室的標牌上就寫著“lounge”，還有很多我不認識的單詞，在參觀過程中，我都學會了。不僅如此，我們在遇到一些特別的事物時，也學會了不少單詞，在看到一些教室的'門上掛著玩具圣誕老人時，billy就問我們它用英文該怎么表達。我們有的說是“christmasman”,有的說是“christmas father”,可惜都不對。最終，還是billy揭開了答案，應該是“santa claus”。這時，我們才恍然大悟，我相信，我們以后再也不會記錯了。

　　參觀完了育英二外，我們又回到了教室，進行最后一個環節：用英文說出你現在的感受以及想法，不少于2句話，獎品是一個學習英語的軟件。很多同學緊張起來，害怕billy選自己上臺。舉手的人寥寥無幾，盡管我也有些緊張，但是我還是勇敢地舉起了手。果然，我被老師選了上去，我說得還不錯，要是再流利些就好了。最后，我拿到了獎品。看來，做任何事情都要勇敢，不要退縮，只要努力，就不會失敗。

　　今天，我既開心得玩了一場，又學了很多英語單詞，收獲不小呀!

An orange top of a cap rose little by little from the sea. Suddenly, the sun sprang out of the seawater, looking like a large elliptic ball, and the sky in the east became red. Later, the sun was hidden behind a piece of cloud. When it appeared again, the sun changed from red to bright red, then to golden. AS it rose it became silvery white and shone out. The light was so strong that we could't look at it directly.At that time,the whole mountain was in the golden sunlight.
