每年的10月31日是西方國家的傳統節日----萬圣節。在萬圣節前夕，我們杭州網的小記者展開了一次“萬圣節英語文化之旅”。
我和媽媽早早地來到了活動集合地點，報到后領了一張活動的介紹。等人差不多齊了后，我們各自得到了一個英文名，然后來到了一個充滿萬圣節氣氛的'小屋：神秘的黑色城堡與墳墓；詭異的南瓜燈；墻上貼滿了各種各樣的妖魔鬼怪的圖案······讓人直冒冷汗。
活動開始了，首先是通過一個小短片讓我們知道了萬圣節的由來：萬圣節最早是愛爾蘭人驅趕鬼神的節日，又叫“夏之盡頭”。但信奉神的教皇不同意了，便把11月1日訂為跪拜鬼神的節日，但10月31日晚要驅趕鬼神的呀，于是正式把“夏之盡頭”改為“Hlloween(萬圣節)”。據說這一天在西方國家，孩子們都會穿上精靈古怪的衣服提著南瓜燈挨家挨戶討糖吃。
既然說到挨家討糖吃，接下來我們就玩了“Trick or treat（不給糖就搗蛋）”的游戲。我提了一盞南瓜燈敲了敲門，笑嘻嘻地說：“Trick or treat”，然后走進門，老師就給我了兩顆糖。耶！太容易了！
最好玩的要數“咬蘋果”了。老師把蘋果懸掛在繩子上讓我們去咬，但只能用嘴不能用手，誰先咬到，誰就是優勝者。輪到我了，我挑了個最中間的蘋果準備下嘴。可是我的嘴剛碰到蘋果，它就“跳”開了，反復嘗試了好幾次，都以失敗告終。我急了，對準蘋果張大嘴露出鋒利的牙齒狠狠地咬了下去。嗚……蘋果“逃”得更快了，還來了個“反彈”，我的鼻子！游戲時間到了，雖然我沒有咬到蘋果，但作為鼓勵老師還是送了我一只蘋果。哈哈！我連忙用雙手接過蘋果咬了下去。這下你“逃”不掉了吧，用手拿著吃就是方便啊！
