　　Group purchasing is very convenient, and saves people a lot of money. But it also has some problems. Since group purchasing is nothing more than another form of online shopping, the nature of it is no different from other online shopping patterns. Problems that exist in online shopping also can be found in group purchasing, like deceptive advertisements or poor after-sale services.

　　In my opinion, we should treat group purchasing as a way of shopping and nothing more. We must be careful not to buy something we don’t need only to follow the fashion.

　　many reasons account for the fact that there are so many fake commodities in the market. first, although some factories are not so famous, they want their products to sell well so that they can gain more profit. so they will put the brand name of a prestigious company on their products. second, although some consumers are not so well off, yet, they can＇t resist the temptation of having something produced by a famous company, therefore, they buy the fake commodities to show off to the others. finally, some fake commodities serve almost as well as the genuine ones, but they are much cheaper. so many people still buy them.

　　fake commodities will undoubtedly do harm to both the individual and the society. the consumers are, of course, the direct victims. fake commodities are usually of very poor quality, which often do harm to consumers. i have heard so many cases in which gas leaked from gas-heaters, resulting in death. moreover, fake commodities cut into the profits of the other companies, breaking the rule in fair competition and thus causing other social problems.

　　Fire Prevention on Campus

　　People are alarmed by the succession of campus fires in recent years. In each of these accidents, heavy casualties were reported - houses were burned down, students lost their lives, and properties were damaged. Faced with such a chilling fact, people keep asking, What on earth results in these repeated tragedies?

　　A brief survey of them reveals that human factors still prove to be the leading causes. For example, three of these fires were caused by the students use of electric water-heaters. As students often leave the heaters unattended, the risks are rather high should the water in the bottle boil dry while no one is around to turn off the power. In other cases, fires were also caused by stoves, candles, cigarette butts, etc.

　　Since most of these disasters could have been prevented if proper precautions had been taken, students should be better educated on the importance and measures of fire control. The following three reminders are of particular importance for us students: First, learn how to use a fire extinguisher. Second, double-check candles, heaters, stoves and other electric appliances, and make sure there are no open flames before leaving rooms. Lastly, do not smoke in the dorm.
