One time Mark Twain went to lodge at a hotel at some place,he was told beforehand that the mosquito there were very fierce.
When he was registering the room,a mosquito flied over just in time.Mark Twain told the waitress:”I heard that the mosquito here were very clever,and as was expected,it actually comes to see my registered room number in advance,so that it can presence according to the number to take a hearty meal.”
On hearing that the waitress couldn‘t help laughing.As a result,Mark twain had a good sleep that night,because the waitress also remembered the roon number and killed the mosquito in the room in advance.

On one Fool‘s Day,to play tricks on Mark Twain ,someone reported in a newspaper that Mark Twain passed away.As a result,Mark Twain ‘s relatives and friends came to mourn for him one after another .When they reached Mark Twain‘s home,they found that Mark was writing ,sitting at the table.The relatives and friends were surprised at first,and then they condemned the newspaper which slandered in chorus.With no angry look,Mark Twain humourously said :” The report of my death is true,but they brought forward the date.”
