When I was a little child, I was so naughty that I always did something angry my parents. They always blamed to me, but I never listened to them. I thought they were too strict with me. But I changed in someday. My parents always told me to be careful when I went out. However, all I thought was they worried too much. On my way to take the bus home, there was a traffic light. That day, when I got to the cross road, the light was red, but there was no car crossed the road anymore. So I went across the road without the light turning to green. At this moment, a car rushed quickly towards me. I was suddenly scared, so that I couldn’t move but stood still. Luckily, the driver broke the car quickly and I did not get hurt. But I did scared. I couldn’t image what would happen if the car did not stop in time. I told my parents what I experienced. At first, they blamed me as usual and I knew I was wrong that time. Therefore, I did not say anything. They realized that I was frightened, so they comforted me patiently. I finally knew that all they said and done was good to me. After that, I was much more careful and I listened to my parents.
當(dāng)我還是個(gè)小孩的時(shí)候，我很淘氣，經(jīng)常做一些使父母生氣的事。他們總是責(zé)備我，但是我從來(lái)不聽(tīng)他們的話。我覺(jué)得他們對(duì)我太嚴(yán)厲了。但是，有一天我改變了。我父母經(jīng)常告訴我出門(mén)的時(shí)候要小心，但是我總覺(jué)得是他們過(guò)于擔(dān)心了。在我乘坐公車(chē)回家的路上有一個(gè)紅綠燈，那天，我走到十字路口的時(shí)候，變紅燈了。但是沒(méi)有車(chē)過(guò)馬路。于是燈沒(méi)變綠我就過(guò)馬路了。正在這時(shí)候，一輛汽車(chē)快速向我沖過(guò)來(lái)，頓時(shí)我慌了，站在那里動(dòng)也不動(dòng)。幸運(yùn)的是，司機(jī)緊急剎車(chē)了，而我也沒(méi)有受傷。但是，我確實(shí)受到驚嚇了。我不敢想象如果車(chē)沒(méi)有及時(shí)停住的話會(huì)發(fā)生什么事情。我告訴父母這次經(jīng)歷，起初他們像往常一樣責(zé)備我。而那一次我也知道錯(cuò)了。因此，我一句話也沒(méi)說(shuō)。他們意識(shí)到我受驚了，于是耐心安慰我。最后我才知道他們所說(shuō)的.和所做的都是為我好。從那以后，我更小心了也聽(tīng)父母的話了。

It is well known that university is greatly different from high school mainly due to that university will hold a large number of activities which benefits college students a lot. From my perspective the most beneficial one is “Long-distance Running for Love” organized by the Students union when I am a freshman. The money collected by this activity is contributed to Project Hope.
It is really my honor to participate the long running because it benefits me greatly not only in body but also in mind. To begin with the activity reminds me of the great importance of physical health. Before I go to college I only focus on academic achievements while the physical health misses my attention. But the long-running tells me in time that a sound mind lies in a sound body. Additionally during my participation in this activity I am informed well that there are still many children in rural areas who have to drop out of school because of impoverished families. Thus for one thing I fully realize the great importance of helping them fulfill their dreams. For another thing I cherish the opportunity to study in university more for when compared with those children in poverty-stricken areas we should harbor a grateful heart.
By and large although I have taken part in many campus activities I deem the long running for love most beneficial to me. And I am looking forward to that more wonderful and meaningful activities will be held in our campus.
