We had a sports meeting last Friday. All of the students took an active part in it. Our class did very well in the sports meeting. The boys won the boys' 400 metres, and the girls won the girls' 200 metres.
I joined in the sports meeting, too. In the long jump, I won the second prize. But unluckily, I was the last one in the high jump.
Though the sports meeting has been over, I'll always remember the spirit of Faster, Higher and Stronger .

I have a lot of rules at my house . For example, I have to get up at 6 o’clock, I’m not allowed to have breakfast outside, because I have to play the violin and my mother thinks breakfast outside is not clean . I’m not allowed to watch TV too long . In fact , I can’t watch TV at all . My parents think watching TV is too boring and it is bad for my health . Going to the movies on Saturday nights is not allowed at my home . I have to finish my homework after school and I can’t play with my friends . My parents are really strict in my grades. I think I’m a bird that can’t fly.

There is a reading room and a library here. Every evening many villagers go to the evening school to learn science and read newspapers.
