我的英語老師名叫朱祥慧。聽這名字，以為是女的，其實是男的。朱老師長得丑，而且不是一般的丑。俗話說得好：人不可貌相，海水不可斗量。我們以貌取人就大錯特錯了。他雖然丑，但是英語過了八級呢！厲害吧！
更厲害的還是上他的課呢。他的課，每一節(jié)都不同尋常。特別是班上那些調(diào)皮搗蛋的學(xué)生，簡直就是小心翼翼、提心吊膽了。對他們來說，上英語課，應(yīng)該如同下地獄一般痛苦吧。為什么呢？因為一不小心就有“墜入深谷的危險”——接受“嚴(yán)刑拷打”的考驗。“拷打”的過程中，班里有些女生就拍手叫好。用英語老師的話來說，那就是：“上英語課有仇的報仇，有冤的申冤。如果這些男生一而再、再而三地欺負(fù)女生，找我就可以了！”這一番話可是說到女生的心窩子里了。
我最佩服英語老師的“雙棍打”。左右手都得打，經(jīng)過老師的'一陣“狂打”，你的手非得疼上半節(jié)課。其次就是“蹲板凳”——把凳子抽出來，然后你坐在空氣中，姿勢還必須就像坐在板凳上的一樣。20分鐘下來，你就揮汗如雨了！這兩招還都不算狠，最狠的一招是“笑臉”。英語老師會拍著你的肩膀，笑著對你說一番話，這時，他就會露出那一口不齊整的大牙，令你“毛骨悚然”。
當(dāng)然也有女生挨揍的時候。前兩招我就都領(lǐng)教過，第三招還沒“享受”過，我現(xiàn)在是沒有那個“榮幸”了。所以，我覺得一句話非常適合形容英語課，那就是：不經(jīng)歷風(fēng)雨，怎能見彩虹。
“嚴(yán)師出高徒”，我們班的英語成績就不用說了，每次考試都穩(wěn)拿第一。英語老師常常用武力，我們班同學(xué)居然都喜歡他，在學(xué)校組織的“最受歡迎的老師”的評選中，英語老師竟然位居榜首。
