早晨，我早早起床，因為今天是我第一次學英語的日子，我高興地一蹦三尺高，像一只快樂的'小鳥，吃完早飯，媽媽送我到“環球國際英語”去學英語。
一到這個學校，我就跑到自己的G班，發現全班同學都是二（2）班的老同學，一共5個人，我驚訝地把嘴巴張的老大，都可以吞下一個蘋果了，哈哈哈哈。
上課了，老師介紹了她了自己，她的英文名字叫“sherry”，這個名字還有來源呢因為老師喜歡吃雪梨，所以叫“sherry”，老師一一為我們取了英文名，我的英文名叫“Ann”。老師教了我們3個字母A、B、C，還教了字母歌，ABCDEFG——，我們還學習了蘋果（apple），貓（cat），書本（book）。
我本來以為學英語很難，但沒想到學英語可以帶來這么多知識和樂趣，我喜歡學英語。

我現在已經六年級了，英語成績有了很大的提高，這里面包含了爸爸不少的功勞。那還是三年前的事了。那時我正讀小學三年級，英語成績很差。雖然爸爸當時很忙，但從今以后，還是決定當我的英語輔導老師，為我補習英語，爭取使我的英語成績來個飛躍式的發展！
其實，爸爸的英語水平并不高，頂多就是小學三四年級的水平。爸爸常說：“要想給學生一碗水，自己先得有一桶水，為此，他不得不自學英語。這無疑給他增加了難度。他學英語學的很艱苦，很認真。爸爸是將近四十歲的人了，他學習沒有別的目的，只為輔導我，以便讓我學的更好。“望子成龍”嘛！可見爸爸在為我成才方面付出了多少心血。
爸爸他買了好多有關英語方面的書，還買磁帶和光盤。在這方面花錢他似乎從不心疼。爸爸學英語經常一學就是半夜。爸爸的英語水平并不高，課本上有很多單詞他都不會讀，就自己查字典，注音標，跟著復讀機一起讀，目的是為了學會更準確的發音。遇到似懂非懂的問題時，連我都懶的弄懂它，可爸爸總要查字典找資料，一定要弄個明白。有一天，我們一起學到深夜１２點，我都打盹了，我問爸爸：“爸爸，你不瞌睡嗎？”爸爸說：“為了你爸爸不能瞌睡！”
爸爸經常和我說，要想學習好，必須熱愛學習，對學習產生濃厚的.興趣。把學習當成一種樂趣去享受，看見書就頭痛，是沒有好成績的。對于學習的興趣是完全可以培養的。要想學習好還得勤奮下苦功去鉆研，一個不學無術之人，永遠不會在考試方面做出好成績來。
我明白，自己英語差，是不努力用功的原因。爸爸為了鼓勵我學習，常常和我以起朗讀，做作業。用他自己的話來說這叫“陪讀”。爸爸說“陪讀”一詞是近幾年聽說的，如今社會變了，父母親在教育子女的方式也似乎變了。爸爸說“陪讀”只能陪到我小學畢業，不可以陪到我初中，高中。他只能充當我的一個啟蒙老師，學習成績的好壞關鍵在我自己把握。
從那一年起，在我和爸爸的共同努力下，我的英語成績有了很大的提高，后來，每當我學習想偷懶的時候總會想起爸爸的話和他的學習精神，每當這時我也自然勤奮起來。
爸爸在我身上充滿著無限希望啊！爸爸那種認認真真刻苦鉆研的學習精神讓我實在感動。今后，我一定不辜負爸爸對我的希望，一定刻苦加倍學習，用特別優異的成績來回報他對我的一片“愛心”。
