　　From the picture given above, we can observe that there are two young men using different ways to show admiration towards their role model. By writing Beckham on his face, the man on the left picture expresses his intense enthusiasm for Beckham. Meanwhile, to make himself resemble his idol, the man on the right picture spends 300 RMB making a Beckhams hairstyle.

　　The cartoon aims at informing us of the phenomenon that many adolescents admire their role models in an excessive and blind way. Quite a few reasons can account for this: for one thing, with the mass media spreading the positive image of superstars, young people can hardly resist the charm of them. They regard superstars as their examples and desire to be people like them. For another, youngsters craze for superstars can also be attributed to the influence of the force ofgroup dynamics :when members of their social networks show great enthusiasm for some idols, young people are so easily influenced by their friends or classmates and then imitate the behavior they see. This could be a subtle form of peer pressure.

　　We cannot draw an absolute conclusion whether idol-worship is good or bad. Simply imitating role models dresses or behaviors, youngsters may lose themselves and it will definitely interfere with their personal life or studies. 　　many reasons account for the fact that there are so many fake commodities in the market. first, although some factories are not so famous, they want their products to sell well so that they can gain more profit. so they will put the brand name of a prestigious company on their products. second, although some consumers are not so well off, yet, they can＇t resist the temptation of having something produced by a famous company, therefore, they buy the fake commodities to show off to the others. finally, some fake commodities serve almost as well as the genuine ones, but they are much cheaper. so many people still buy them.

　　fake commodities will undoubtedly do harm to both the individual and the society. the consumers are, of course, the direct victims. fake commodities are usually of very poor quality, which often do harm to consumers. i have heard so many cases in which gas leaked from gas-heaters, resulting in death. moreover, fake commodities cut into the profits of the other companies, breaking the rule in fair competition and thus causing other social problems.

　　For most senior students in universities, the last academic year has nothing to do with academics. To the frustration of professors, few courses are attended by students. And dorms are almost vacant with few lodgers. This kind of phenomenon, which has been called “Senior Empty Nests”, is common among universities of China.

　　Where have those absent senior students gone? Some lucky dogs have gone to their new jobs while the majority are still striving to get a job or engaging in their internship outside of the campus. The severe employment pressure has pushed senior students into employment market earlier. The anxiety of getting a job before graduation disturbs the restless mind of every student, which leads to skipping school of most students.

　　In my view, with senior students leaving campus earlier, their time of education has been reduced, which puts them in a disadvantaged position in the employment market. Students should start job hunting after finishing the courses of the last academic year. At the same time, the universities should provide career education for senior students.

　　我鎮靜下來，對媽媽說：“媽，看我的嘴。”我放下書，把兩只手的中指伸進嘴巴里，然后輕輕一拉，從嗓子里發出“哎——”的聲音。老媽真乖，也學著我的樣子，把嘴巴拉得老長，嗓子里竟然發出了“哎兒”的聲音。弟弟看著媽媽的嘴，大牙都差點笑掉。我一把摟住媽媽的脖子親了一口，說：“老媽，你真有才。”媽媽也高興起來。“‘哎兒’、‘哎兒’。”又連續念了好幾遍。“不就是把嘴巴扁著念嗎？小菜一碟！再來。”媽媽不無驕傲地說。

　　“好，今天就學到這兒，下課。”我合上書笑著說。媽媽站起身子，向我鞠了個躬說：“謝謝老師，老師休息。”
