When we plant a rose seed in the earth, we notice it is small, but we do not criticize it as “rootless and stemless1.” We treat it as a seed, giving it the water and nourishment2 required of a seed.
一粒微小的玫瑰花子被植入土壤時(shí)，我們并不因它“無根無莖”而加以批評(píng)。我們把它當(dāng)做一粒種子來對(duì)待，施予它所需的水分和養(yǎng)料。
When it first shoots up out of the earth, we don't condemn it as immature3 and underdeveloped, nor do we criticize the buds for not being open when they appear. We stand in wonder at the process taking place, and give the plant the care it needs at each stage of its development.
當(dāng)它剛剛破土而出時(shí)，我們不因它幼稚、發(fā)育不良而詆毀它;當(dāng)出現(xiàn)花蕾時(shí)，我們也不因它們不綻放而責(zé)備它。在它成長(zhǎng)的.不同階段，給予它所需的照顧。我們會(huì)驚喜地目睹整個(gè)過程。
The rose is a rose from the time it is a seed to the time it dies. Within it, at all times, it contains its whole potential4. It seems to be constantly in the process of change: Yet at each state, at each moment, it is perfectly all right as it is.
玫瑰，從一粒種子開始，到凋零，直至死亡，始終是玫瑰。在它生命的每時(shí)每刻，體內(nèi)都蘊(yùn)藏著巨大的潛能。它似乎總在不斷地變化，但是在任何階段，任何時(shí)刻，都是最真實(shí)、最完美的。
A flower is not better when it blooms than when it is merely a bud; at each stage it is the same thinga flower in the process of expressing its potential.
一朵花，在每一階段都是相同的，無論是盡情綻放的花朵還是含苞欲放的花骨朵，都是這朵花--一朵時(shí)刻展現(xiàn)自己潛能的花。

Good morning! I’m very glad to stand here and give you a short speech.
Man’s life is a process of growing up, actually I’m standing here is a growth. If a person’s life must constituted by various choices, then I grow up along with these choices. Once I hope I can study in a college in future, however that’s passed, as you know I come here, now I wonder what the future holds for me. When I come to this school, I told to myself: this my near future, all starts here. Following I will learn to become a man, a integrated man, who has a fine body, can take on important task, has independent thought, an open mind, intensive thought, has the ability to judge right and wrong, has a perfect job.
Once my teacher said :” you are not sewing, you are stylist; never forget which you should lay out to people is your thought, not craft.” I will put my personality with my interest and ability into my study, during these process I will combine learning with doing. If I can achieve this “future”, I think that I really grow up. And I deeply believe kindred, good-fellowship and love will perfection and happy in the future.
How to say future? Maybe it’s a nice wish. Lets make up our minds, stick to it and surely well enjoy our life.
