　　我聽了一直不信，這回非要親自去上她的課。第一天上課時她就穿一身灰：灰大衣就像斗篷，灰帽子上還有幾個褶，就像揚州灌湯包，穿著一雙灰靴子，還戴著一副細邊眼鏡。如果再加上銀白的胡子，那就是魔法學校的校長阿不思。登不利多了！

　　一上課，我就領略到英語曹的特點了。她上課從不是等學生舉手再點名回答的。在她的.課上回答問題從不用舉手，要么直接站起來，要么就是“地毯式”提問，她的手揮到哪一排，那一整排的學生就是一個緊接一個機關槍掃射似得迅速回答，常常頭一個還沒說完，后一個都蹦起來了。沒跟上的則站著再說一遍。大家一站一起，像在玩“打地鼠”一樣，掀起一層波浪。這樣就像鋪地毯一樣，哪個角落的學生回答不上？這樣精神高度緊張，學生哪有走神的時間。既能讓每個人都回答，又加快回答的時間，充大一節課的容量。能不一下上完三節課嗎？

　　英語曹除了課上得快，記單詞也快。她常常用諧音或小故事來記。像國籍這個單詞，被她用諧音記成“奶昔奶利提”她說這像一種糖的名字，我們對甜食感興趣就會記得快。比如“通�！边@個詞她是這樣記的“usua”就是“有兒有女”，因為這個人既生男孩又女孩，所以后面“lly”就是他高興笑得直打嗝。有時她為了讓我們記憶深刻，讓我們邊做動作邊記，她自己甚至會在講臺上挑起舞來。經過她這樣聲情并茂的記法，記單詞果然不費事了。

　　她不僅教得快，且風趣幽默，語言豐富。她看有的同學并不認真學，就用滿口的淮南方言說：“你們要是不學，為什么還交錢來上課？就像你去買菜，你對賣菜的說只把錢扔給他，不拿走菜，根本不管菜一樣，傻不傻”。同學們聽了都笑了。
