　　小學六年來，我上過許多課，但最喜歡的是五年級時上的一堂英語課《公雞和狐貍》。那天預備鈴響過，師生互相用英語問候后，英語老師在黑板上掛出準備好的課文圖畫，然后手拿教棒，指著掛圖用英語講解。她一邊講一邊把這一段的重點詞語貼到事先準備好的絨板上。

　　接著她又用同樣的方法繪聲繪色地把其它的掛圖講完，我們都聚精會神地聽著。然后老師要求我們回答問題，我們都對答如流，老師很高興，連連夸獎我們。通過上面的練習，我們對課文的內容已經基本掌握，這時老師就不失時機地要求我們復述課文。一位女同學自愿上臺，她神態自若，準確地復述整個故事，而且語言生動，富有表情。她一講完，我們都情不自禁地鼓起掌來。

　　這時，老師從講臺里拿出硬紙板制成的'大樹、公雞和狐貍的面具，說:“現在我們表演話劇《公雞和狐貍》，誰愿意上臺表演?”我們覺得既新鮮又有趣，都躍躍欲試，紛紛舉起手來。老師指定三個人上臺。演狐貍的同學一上臺就做了一個狐貍的動作，把我們逗樂了。

　　由于課堂氣氛輕松，表演者無拘無束地進入角色，演得十分逼真，特別是演狐貍的同學把狐貍貪婪的個性和對狗的害怕心理充分表現出來。當他聽到有狗叫時，一邊夾著尾巴一邊逃跑，演得惟妙惟肖。接著其它的兩人也演得很精彩，我們都報以熱烈的掌聲。下課鈴響了，可是我還久久地回味著這堂聲情并茂、活潑生動的英語課。這堂課是我最喜歡的，也是我最難忘的。
