　　進入小學三年級，女兒初學英語總感覺單詞的讀法怪怪的。有點好奇，除老師課堂上講的課本知識外，在路上、家里看到什么，總喜歡問我：“媽媽，用英語這個怎么念？那個怎么念？”對她提出的問題，我有時能回答出來，有時我也不會，查字典也沒有結果，尋求網絡幫助，查金山詞霸、愛詞霸，能很快告訴字義、讀音、......等，感覺不錯，推薦給大家，遇到問題也來試試，或許對你有所幫助。

　　在孩子學習的過程中，我也好像又回到了童年，成了一名小學生。每天早晨起來，在洗臉的.同時，首先打開復讀機，和孩子一起聽她以前學過的英語句子，潛移默化中孩子也養成了好的學習習慣，自覺不自覺中就將學過的知識重溫了一遍又一遍。

　　后來我又發現女兒在拿著課本讀的時候，讀得很流利，可以說是瑯瑯上口，有的幾乎都會背了。無意間我在搞紙上寫了她學過的其中一個單詞，問她是什么？怎么讀？她定靜看了一下后，默不做聲了，搖搖頭。于是我又讓她拿出課本，找出這個單詞，她就很熟練得說了出來，這樣光會說，不認識可不行啊？將來考試怎么辦？本來很自信的她，如果這樣是考不出來好成績的呀？于是我打電話咨詢朋友、老師，都說得讓孩子記單詞的拼寫、字義，不過不能急于求成，慢慢來，每天就記一、兩個單詞，孩子既感興趣，也不厭煩。我試過，方法很好，很奏效，大家也不妨試一試，看看怎么樣？

　　今年暑假，我報名參加了全省少兒英語朗誦電視表演大賽。有三千多人參賽。比賽分為四個組別，分別是：幼兒組、小學A組（我參加的組別）、小學B組、中學組。分初賽、復賽、半決賽、決賽四個賽程。競爭很激烈，從三千人中最后決出四十名選手進入決賽。

　　我抱著試試看的心情參加了比賽，想練練膽子，希望能提高自己的英語水平。初賽的時候，我有些緊張，自我介紹的時候都卡殼了，不過幸好我的英語歌曲唱得不錯，順利過關，進入復賽。

　　復賽的時候，我的心情不那么緊張了，并且增加了一個Story time的才藝展示。幾天后，接到了參加半決賽的通知。

　　半決賽在杭州濱江區的浙江藝術職業學院的.演播廳舉行。按規定，每個組別是20人參加，但是由于競爭很激烈，我們組有25人參賽，要選出10人參加決賽，比別的組更艱難。結果我發揮較為出色，殺入了決賽。哇，好高興！

　　一周后，決賽開始。評委也增加到了9個。比賽分為4個環節：自我介紹、才藝展示、即興演講和評委提問，要求也更加嚴格，超過時間就會被卡斷。我抽到最后一個出場，由于還是有些緊張，居然漏了一項才藝表演。不過其他都發揮正常。

　　經過2個多小時的比賽和評委的認真評選，獎項正式開出，我獲得了這次全省第二屆少兒英語朗誦電視大賽小學A組的銅獎。哈哈，真沒想到！通過這次比賽，我得到了鍛煉，開闊了眼界，也提高了學好英語的興趣。正像老師說的那樣，重要的不是結果，是參與比賽的過程！
