I think it’s a good idea for schools to ask students to evaluate their teachers. This informs teachers of how students react both to their teaching methods and to them as individuals. Teachers can weigh the criticisms and change what they think needs to be changed. Praise from students is also valuable. It can reinforce teachers’ opinions about how they’re teaching and give them confidence.
It’s also helpful for school administrators to hear what students think about their teachers. It keeps administrators in touch with what’s going on in the school. It also gives them some idea of which teachers effectively reach the students. However, good administrators know that student evaluations need to be reviewed with a keen eye for prejudice and adolescent attitudes. After all, and evaluation is a good way for students to get back at teachers who expect more of them than they want to give.
Evaluating teachers is also a good exercise for the students. They have to organize their thoughts about what they think of their teachers. In that way, they pinpoint for themselves what they expect of those teachers. They begin to understand what they value in a teacher and what is phony or useless. 這個學期，我們都上了六年級，我們新換了一個英語老師，叫Miss Mo。可是第一節課，就上得夠“厲害”的，現在我來介紹一下我們上的第一節英語課吧！
那節課剛開始，Miss Mo便踏著鈴聲走進教室。先自我介紹了一番，讓我們了解了解，然后講課，她拿出一疊卡片，我一看，暈！原來是二十六個字母。不會吧……我們已經六年級了耶！不會還教26字母吧！我果然猜對了，接著，她讓我們一組一組讀一張張卡片，上面全是字母。后來讓我們兩個兩個念，三個三個念，還讓我們倒著讀，結果是：全班沒有一個錯的.。我想：這也太低估我們了吧，六年級還教字母。沒想到后面還有更“低估”的，居然讓我們唱ABC歌！老師一邊拍掌一邊唱，我們只好也焉焉地跟著唱了起來：“ABCDEFG,HIJKLMN.......”接著，老師在黑板上寫下英語四線格，在黑板上一邊寫一邊說：“A要這樣寫，B要這樣……”最后，老師說：“今天的作業是：把26個字母大小寫各寫一遍！”說完走了出去。哐！全班暈倒！
下課了，我問同學們：“你覺得上得怎么樣？”十有八九都說：“簡單到極端了！”呵呵，有同感耶！
唉，我知道老師想打好我們的基礎，但也沒必要這么簡單吧！我想。

在我三年級的時候，換了一個新英語老師，叫張老師。
張老師長的不是很漂亮，個子高高的，也不胖。張老師比較幽默，總講一些好笑的事情，指導我們逗得哈哈大笑，把窗外正休息的鳥兒都驚飛了。
那次，老師給我們默寫，老師拿著手機一邊看手機一邊給我們默寫，我們很疑惑，有人就問：“張老師，你是怎么把這詞背出來的啊，好厲害啊。”張老師愣了一下，說：“背？我沒有背出來啊。”我們疑惑了，又問：“那么張老師，你是如何做到一邊看手機一邊給我們默寫的呢？”“因為我都拍下來了呀，我看手機就是為給你們默寫啊，其實我根本就沒有背出來，只是看著手機上的單詞然后給你們默寫罷了。”我們恍然大悟，說：“想讓我背出來，這輩子都不可能。“哈哈哈……”
張老師也有兇的`一面和好的一面，兇的時候無人敢吭聲，高興的時候就會給我們一點小零食，大家邊吃邊聊天，快樂極了。
