今天媽媽告訴我一個好消息，今天晚上接到老師的.通知，上周我在泡泡英語全國比賽預賽考試中通過了考試，可以參加泡泡英語全國少兒大賽正式比賽了，我很興奮！
我問媽媽：“是不是考試呀？”
“是的，正式的比賽，和預賽差不多。”媽媽說：“周日，老師要帶你們去參加賽前培訓。”
我又問媽媽：“是幾個人去？”
媽媽說：“你們班有7個小朋友在預賽考試中通過了考試。你要努力！”
“好！”我喜歡英語這門課程！

十二月二十二號，我和五個同學一起來到四眼碶中學參加英語比賽。
我們是第三個表演，原本非常自信，可看了前兩個表演后，頓時，成了一個個泄了氣的氣球。就說第二個表演吧，他們演的是英文的“三打白骨精”。內容很多，也非常幽默，原本書中寫的是悟空外出時，唐僧等人在原地休息，而表演的的同學們卻改編成了在原地打撲克。這讓全場的評委老師和同學都笑了起來。我們也哈哈大笑。不一會兒就到我們了。
我們徑直走上舞臺，快速布置起來。布置完背景后，我按照自己的稿子認真地念了起來。在警察出場時，鬧了一個小笑話。我的旁白還沒有念完時，警察就出來了。這也注定了我們的分數會下降。表演完了后，我們下場欣賞別的`同學的表演了。
我看了接下來的表演，有的表演《狐貍偷肉》，有人表演《小紅帽》，還有人表演《狐假虎威》等經典的故事，我覺得我們最多只能拿最后一名，所以在心里下定了決心要好好學習英語，成為英語小能手。
比賽雖然結束了，但我一定要好好學英語。

Firstly, perseverance let people step closely towards success. Most people want to make a big difference to prove their value. People who set their goal and keep moving would make their dream come true. However, there are some people who set their goal but they stop at the difficulty would fail in the end. I think the difference between success and failure is perseverance. If we have perseverance, even if we are not clever, we will make a great difference, but if we not, we are doomed to lose. As we all know, Edison is a great inventor in the world. However, before he invented the bulb, he kept trying for tens of thousands of times to find a suitable wire. Let us imagine, if he gave up at the 999th, then how he couldn’t become so successful. So, I strongly believe that perseverance produces success.

Last week, I took part in an English speech contest which was held by our teachers. There were twelve students in the final contest. I was one of them. Fifteen minutes before my turn, I picked my topic and prepared for it. I wrote down the outlines and organized what I was going to say. However, when I stood in front of all judges and students, I was extremely nervous. My mind was totally empty. Then I took a deep breath to relax myself and started my speech. The result was not as good as I expected, but I preferred to regard it as a challenge to myself, whose process was the most important for me. I can learn a lot from this contest. I am sure I will be better next time.
