　　上周，是我們學校的第二屆英語活動周。在這一周里，英語活動內容可謂是豐富多彩：手抄報比賽、指手畫腳猜單詞、書寫比賽等大大激發了我們學英語、用英語的興趣。可令我最難忘的要數周五下午的游園活動了。

　　中午吃完飯，老師們把精心準備的各種道具準備好后，游園活動就開始了。同學們個個興奮不已，笑嘻嘻地穿梭于各個教室。剎那間，整幢教學樓變成了歡樂的海洋。

　　聽說“希臘”（403班）的“點蠟燭”好玩又簡單，我便和好朋友金宇虹手拉手一起去碰碰運氣。一到那兒，一條“長龍”即映入眼簾，看來這個項目很受同學們的歡迎。我們隨著人流走進了龍尾行列。慢慢地，我們進入了龍頭的行列。我伸頭前望，只見一個瘦小的女孩一下子就點燃了三根蠟燭而順利通關了。“這個游戲的確挺簡單的嘛！通關對于我來說應該不成問題。”于是，我信心十足地站在隊中，不時向前移動著腳步。就在快輪到我時，一種莫名的擔憂涌上心頭：萬一我動作慢了燒到手怎么辦？同學們會不會笑話我呀？“快，輪到你了。”金宇虹對我說。我猛地回過神來，接過火柴，閃亮登場。“哧——”火柴擦著了，我急忙將火柴移向蠟燭。可是這火苗像故意跟我作對似的，東躲西藏，就是不和燭芯親熱。無奈，最后以失敗而告終。我定了定神，又擦燃了第二根。這次我吸取教訓，放慢了速度。誰知，這“熊熊大火”還沒等到我移向蠟燭已經親吻了我的手指，我只好大叫著將它扔到了地上。此刻，我狼狽極了，但為了尊嚴故作鎮定。我又擦燃了第三根、第四根……時間到了，最終我只點燃了一支蠟燭！看來，不論何時都不能輕信別人的話，只有親身下河才能知深淺，只有親口嘗梨才能之酸甜吶！

　　離開那傷心地，我來到了“西班牙斗牛場”（自己班教室），爭取在這里找回點自信。瞧，賽場上那些瘦骨嶙峋的“牛”一下子就被那些膘肥體壯的“牛”撞出圈外，直接淘汰出局。此時，我暗下決心：只能成功，不許失敗！
