Before the contest, Fangfang thought her English was the best. So shespent lots of time picking some beautiful clothes for herself instead of trying to work hard at English for the contest. As a result, she didnt do well in the contest because she hadnt got ready for the contest.
But Mingming was different from Fangfang. He worked hard at Englishand asked others for help. Especially, his leg was hurt two days before the contest, but he never gave up. In the end, he won the contest.
No doubt, from Mingming we should learn : No pains, No gains. From now on, I mush learn fromMingming.

Before the contest, Fangfang thought she was good at English, and that she didnt need to spend more time on the contest at all. She alwaysconsidered picking some beautiful clothes for the contest. But Mingming was different. He worked hard at English and asked others for help. Though he had hurt his leg two days before the contest, he never gave up.

今天，我參加了中央電視臺希望之星英語風采大賽山東省德州賽區的復賽，可真謂難上加難，勢比登天，真是上刀山下火海，難得不得了。但是即使這樣，我也沒灰心，反而振作了起來，用微笑和笑容迎接比賽。看著其他選手站在那里不知所措，緊張的不得了，我感覺他們真令人可悲。我相信，這些選手肯定在家練了不下百回，但到臺上卻瞠目結舌，“臺詞”也忘得一干二凈了，只見他們站在那里，就像一個個泥雕，仿佛著名雕塑家羅丹的大作。但這不是比雕塑，而是比英語才能的發揮水平，比的是英語口語。我作為一名普通的選手，看著就感覺苦笑不得。
雖然你不可能要求每一名選手都做到臨危不懼這四個字，但也不能像老鼠遇上貓一樣膽戰心驚，雙腿直發抖，不敢正視評委，把評委看成了高高在上的大法官，而把自己比成了即將被判刑的重刑犯。這些選手的滑稽“表演”，絲毫沒影響到我。時間飛逝，當評委大聲喊到張家泰三個字時，我一愣，隨即從容大方的走上講臺，侃侃而談起來，我把事先準備好的英語作文朗誦，我感覺我的英語作文就像洪水咆哮般涌來，富有激情和熱情，我越說越興奮，越說越高興，仿佛這不是一場比賽，而是游樂園，使我沒有壓力。接下來的環節我表現依然best。但結束后，我對自己充滿了信心，確信一定能進半決賽，接著進入那匪夷所思的決賽，并在決賽中勝出。
果不出我所料，到星期天去查詢成績時，看到入圍名單上有陳駿彬三個大字時，我的'心臟簡直快蹦出來了，又是這幸運的三個字：陳駿彬。讓我走上了半決賽之路，使我能夠再一次在中央電視臺希望之星英語風采大賽山東省德州市賽區的半決賽上展示自我，出人頭地，鶴立雞群，我真的是太開心了，但漫長的比賽之路又開始了，讓我放下驕傲，迎來謙虛，最后走向成功，成就我的星光之夢，贏得一臺臺式聯想四核液晶電腦，我正為此而努力著，加油吧！陳駿彬，你能行，下一個希望之星就是我。
