　　There are so many sports we can play these days, but among them, I like to play basketball best. I learnt to play it when I was 11 years old.

　　Playing basketball can bring me some good friends, they have something in common with me, they always ask me to play it with them; And we can always share our skills together. We learnt what teamwork is from playing basketball. Sometimes we watch NBA games together, my favourite NBA star is Yao Ming, he is very modest, too.

　　We usually play basketball after school and on the weekends as well. I feel very happy when I pass my ball to my pals. We always cheer when we win the games.

　　I hope I can play basketball as well as Yao Ming someday in the future.

　　現在有很多的運動我們可以玩，但其中，我最喜歡打籃球。當我11歲的時候，我學會了玩。

　　這周星期五，也就是二零一四年的三月七日。我參加了由cctv主辦的英語風采大賽。其中，筆試部分真是太難了。

　　一進大廳便是人山人海、“賽”人如織。擠都擠不過來。所以逼得我沒辦法，只好用參賽證和鉛筆袋護著頭，硬撞進去。好不容易排上隊了，又被別人踩了好幾腳，哎~我真倒霉��！“啊！”我心想，“我得仔細聽著工作人員有沒有點到我的名字才行。”于是，我豎起耳朵仔細的`聽著。忽然我好像是聽到自己的名字了，便急急忙忙擠了過去，到了前面，“哦，你就是高明睿。請抽簽吧！”我隨便從箱子里抽了一個號碼牌，“二十二號！”我先是一愣，繼而是嘆了一口氣，“二十二號，挺靠后的�！�

　　過了一會兒，一個工作人員把我們這二十幾個人全都領到了二樓一個教室里面。一共有兩張卷子，一張是對你的英語學習情況進行了解，比如：你讀英語報紙嗎？A、經常B、偶爾C、只讀過一次D、從未讀過。讓你選擇并在A、B、C、D前面打對號。接著又發了第二張試卷兒，太難了。第一、二題是聽力部分。第一題是他說一個句子讓你選A、Yes,heisB、Yes,sheisC、Yes,theyis.第二題是他說一個故事，讓你選試卷上面寫得是對還是錯。我們讓工作人員放了五遍都沒怎么聽懂。

　　過了一會兒，我們把筆試做完后，開始靜靜地背誦我們準備的故事。然后，工作人員覺得A1組已經結束了，就把我們五人一組五人一組的帶下去進行才藝表演。當你背誦完后（如果你還沒背完就到時間了就會讓你停�。饨叹蜁o你提供一張照片并提問你一至三個問題，如果你答不上來，外教就會對你說：“thankyou.”

　　Last week, I took part in an English speech contest which was held by our teachers. There were twelve students in the final contest. I was one of them. Fifteen minutes before my turn, I picked my topic and prepared for it. I wrote down the outlines and organized what I was going to say. However, when I stood in front of all judges and students, I was extremely nervous. My mind was totally empty. Then I took a deep breath to relax myself and started my speech. The result was not as good as I expected, but I preferred to regard it as a challenge to myself, whose process was the most important for me. I can learn a lot from this contest. 　　四、宣布比賽環節和評分細則

　　Now I would like to introduce the rules for the contest

　　Today's competition has two phases: The first phase is a 5 minutes’ speech show, which composes 60% of the score. In this part, the contestants are supposed to make a 3 minutes’ impromptu speech according to the topics , and then they will answer the questions raised by our judges, and the time limit is 2 minutes.

　　And the second phase is the role play of each contestant, which takes 40% of the final score. Every one of them will be given 5 minutes to display their role they selected beforehand.

　　After the performance by the contestants, our judges will give fair judgment according to the comprehensive performance of each contestant. We will have one champion, two second prizes winners, three third prize and the rest contestants will get the Excellence Award. I wish all of them achieve a lot, and have good luck.
