今年的英語歌謠比賽，從各班的保密程度及互相打探軍情的狀況，可以得知大家無不摩拳擦掌，希望奪下冠軍寶座。我們班也不例外，老師利用了音樂、體育課程，不斷緊鑼密鼓地練習(xí)，希望再度拿到好成績。
時間不斷地逼進(jìn)，再過三天就要英語歌謠比賽了，同學(xué)們賣力地練習(xí)著跳舞、唱歌，一遍又一遍，此起彼落的歌聲回蕩在教室中，彷彿在訴說著我們有多么努力、認(rèn)真。
回想起這幾個星期來，從選歌曲到編舞，每一個人絞盡腦汁地設(shè)計動作，努力練習(xí)歌曲的練唱著。一開始練舞蹈動作時狀況百出，有人像是木頭人般毫無韻律感；有人則是節(jié)拍總跟不上；有些人懶散甚至渾水摸魚，急得老師跳腳。大家總是等老師氣到臉紅脖子粗，如同火山爆發(fā)地破口大罵時，才一改懶散的態(tài)度嚴(yán)陣以待。
而媽媽在比賽這段時間，常常四處奔波只為了幫我們找尋適合歌曲的造型。有時我會陪媽媽一起去買材料，沒想到常常在車上一等就是好幾個小時。因媽媽對任何事都要求完美。他一直很在意每一個小細(xì)節(jié)，在家中總拿我當(dāng)人形模特兒，讓我試穿各類型的.衣服，只為了表現(xiàn)歌曲本身的精隨。有一次，下著滂沱大雨，媽媽一樣堅持要到后火車站找尋配件，她說她希望每個同學(xué)都有最獨一無二的造型，并為我們留下美好的回憶。當(dāng)時，我知道自己不能再懶散了，看著媽媽辛苦的付出，也讓我學(xué)會了“歡喜做，甘愿受”的道理。
這幾天我也不斷地苦練吉他，希望把每一個音節(jié)修正到位。媽媽更是千萬叮囑地請吉他老師幫我試音、調(diào)音。希望在我們比賽時，我精湛的電吉它飆音技巧能為我們班的歌曲做一完美開場，在評審心中留下深刻的印象。
看著同學(xué)們賣力地扭動身軀，扯開喉嚨地大聲歡唱，汗水淋漓的臉龐為我們的努力見證著，雖無法預(yù)知三天后的比賽成績，但是我知道我們團(tuán)結(jié)努力地朝著目標(biāo)前進(jìn)的心，絕對無人能及！同學(xué)們，加油吧！

Some say growing up in rich family promotes children's personality and character. Some think otherwise. What's your opinion? Why?
Well, it's quite a question argued by people all the time. I think a person's personality has little relation to his family economic level. It's commonly said that a child in rich family will has more chances and better choice for his study. However, if the kid himself isn't aware of this, that is all in vain. It's not unusual that many children from rich family are quite rude and conceited although they are always receive the best education. Then, how about the poor family's children? There is another saying that adversity cultivates heroes. To be honest, I disagree with it too. Poor children should learn harder and catch every chance to strengthen themselves.
However, the reality is often not like that. Subjectively speaking, poor children are easy to feel inferior and thus can't study well. Even if they study well, they hardly do well in practicing ability. Objectively speaking, poor children can hardly receive good and plentiful education because of the economic limit. That will cause deficiency in some literal or artistic talent such as music or dance. Therefore, I think children's personality have little relation to their family situation.

在我的記憶中，有過許多的比賽。例如：奧數(shù)比賽、語文比賽、作文比賽。可最讓我難忘的`還是那次英語演講比賽。
記得四年級暑假的一天，我漫步在小區(qū)里。忽然，我發(fā)現(xiàn)小區(qū)的報告亭上有一則廣告，上面說我們小區(qū)里就要舉行一場英語演講比賽，有外國人過來聽。地址：小區(qū)物業(yè)大廳內(nèi)。看完之后，我猶豫不決：我到底去不去，如果去我英文不好，如果不去機(jī)會難得。
這時，我想起了媽媽的一句話：“不是所有的種子都必須要長成參天大樹，但如果不努力，就不能破土而出，更不會長成參天大樹。”于是，我徑直走向了物業(yè)的大門，報了名。我回到家以后和媽媽說明了情況，媽媽二話不說，幫我到圖文店里打印了資料，我拿起了資料，如饑似渴地讀了起來，因為比賽的時候是要脫稿的，所以我一有時間就拿出來練習(xí)。
比賽那天，我面帶微笑的對著一些外國人。我異常緊張，但又想：養(yǎng)兵千日用兵一時。我之前的努力不就是為了這一刻嗎？我絕對不能在這個關(guān)節(jié)點上掉鏈子。于是，我發(fā)揮超常。但是我的對手都是大人，所以我的成績一落千丈。
雖然這次我沒有得到名次，但是它讓我明白了一個道理：只有努力才是通向成功的捷徑。
