Last week, I took part in an English speech contest which was held by our teachers. There were twelve students in the final contest. I was one of them. Fifteen minutes before my turn, I picked my topic and prepared for it. I wrote down the outlines and organized what I was going to say. However, when I stood in front of all judges and students, I was extremely nervous. My mind was totally empty. Then I took a deep breath to relax myself and started my speech. The result was not as good as I expected, but I preferred to regard it as a challenge to myself, whose process was the most important for me. I can learn a lot from this contest. I am sure I will be better next time.

中午，我一回到家，就飛快地拿出了英語(yǔ)練習(xí)本認(rèn)認(rèn)真真地寫了幾遍，接著選了一張寫的最好的`下午到校后交給了英語(yǔ)老師，英語(yǔ)老師細(xì)致地指導(dǎo)了我，比如豎要寫直，行筆手不要抖等，我牢牢記在了心里，接下來(lái)的兩天我按照英語(yǔ)老師的指導(dǎo)一遍又一遍地規(guī)范地練習(xí)，我進(jìn)步得很快，我在心里暗暗地想：有付出一定會(huì)有收獲！只要努力這次比賽我一定能得一等獎(jiǎng)。
轉(zhuǎn)眼間到了英語(yǔ)書(shū)法比賽的日子，我快速向比賽地點(diǎn)跑去，到了地方，老師一發(fā)下試題，我就不由緊張起來(lái)，要書(shū)寫的內(nèi)容很多，(有十個(gè)單詞，和很長(zhǎng)一段話）可又有什么辦法呢？我只能耐下性子來(lái)好好寫，剛剛寫了一個(gè)開(kāi)頭，我就開(kāi)始手心出汗，又往下寫了還不到一半，我已經(jīng)全身大汗淋漓，我急得像熱鍋上的螞蟻團(tuán)團(tuán)轉(zhuǎn)，心想：這樣緊張下去，比賽肯定無(wú)法取得一個(gè)好成績(jī)，不行，我得調(diào)整情緒，不能太緊張了。于是我連著深呼吸了幾下，盡量把字寫得不那么歪歪扭扭，眼看快收卷了，我硬著頭皮把考題寫完交了上去。交上去后，我想：這次可算是寫砸鍋了，想拿一等獎(jiǎng)是不可能了！不一會(huì)兒老師們便改完了試卷，評(píng)出了一、二等獎(jiǎng)，開(kāi)始發(fā)獎(jiǎng)狀了，老師先念了二等獎(jiǎng)的人，但沒(méi)有我的名字，一種恐懼迅速蔓延了我的全身，我是不是因?yàn)閷懙锰珷�而沒(méi)有獲獎(jiǎng)？我總不能得一等獎(jiǎng)吧？我越想越害怕，這時(shí)老師念到了獲一等獎(jiǎng)的同學(xué)，竟然念到了我！我萬(wàn)萬(wàn)沒(méi)想到我竟然是一等獎(jiǎng)！我太開(kāi)心了。
