　　前一段時間，我參加了“希望之星”英語比賽，沒想到進入了復賽。復賽比初賽難多了，初賽只需要用英語進行自我介紹，再加上才藝表演就行了，而復賽呢，除了這兩項之外，還要看圖用英語說句子。比賽的圖片有20多張，比賽前兩分鐘進行抽簽、準備，然后就要上場了。

　　這一個禮拜，我一直在為比賽做準備，可是因為圖片太多了，時間又緊張，所以我只準備了其中的10多幅圖片。

　　星期六下午，媽媽陪我去參加英語比賽。抽簽的時候，我看見我準備的圖片都被別的小朋友一張張抽走了，心里有點兒緊張。輪到我了，果然，我抽到了一幅沒有準備過圖片，我想：“這下可完了，真倒霉！可是，都已經到了，也沒辦法了，只能再努力準備一下了。”上場的時候，我不再緊張，我大方地做了自我介紹，并唱了一首英語歌，看圖說話開始了，大屏幕上出示了圖片，老師把話筒遞給我。我先介紹了圖片上的'人物，在介紹他們在干什么，30秒中里面，我大概說了八、九個句子。

　　比賽結束了，媽媽表揚我發揮的很好。不知道會不會進紹興市的比賽，但是不管結果如何，這都是一次很好的經歷。

　　Once I saw the TV show, it was about the fathers and their kids having the match, they were separated by five groups and compete for the match. At first, they were competing happily, but as the game came to the end, the last group was so worried. The father inspired his kid to stick on and finish the match, while the kid was crying because he knew he must be the last. After the match, the father told his kid that winning was not the most important thing for the match, the first thing was to enjoy the game and finish it, the result was not that important.

　　I agree with the father, the child must be endowed with the consciousness that to enjoy the game is more important than to win. Every match can only have one win, but we can enjoy every match.

　　前幾個禮拜，為了英語讀者劇場比賽，英文老師和劉老師不停的教導我們，九位同學如何讓每個句子唸得高低起伏、抑揚頓挫并加入感動觀眾的情感，同時告訴我們怎么以時而適當時而夸張的表情傳達故事的意義。我們馬不停蹄、加緊腳步的認真練習了好久。當然準備了這么久，無非不是希望正式比賽，能有優異而杰出的表現。

　　當天，英文老師替緊張的我們打扮得引人注目，把臉蛋畫上濃濃的妝，幫頭發設計造型。到了休息區先加緊認真練習，我們是第十一組，大家有時專注的練習，有時從電視中觀賞其他隊伍的演出。當到了第十組演出時，我們各個冒出帶著不安的汗水，臉色顯露出恐懼，而老師則是拉高嗓音，不斷的重復「一定得放大音量！」……等等的注意事項，這些提醒使我們更加惶惶不安！

　　「現在，請第十一組上臺！」那時，我們各個頭皮發麻，全身僵硬，勉強憋住氣露出了硬梆梆、不好看的微笑。上臺了，我們該大聲時大聲，并做出夸張的手勢，且露出了牙齒，做出邪惡張牙舞爪的動作，下面的.觀眾與評審則是，時而被我們的演出所感染而跟著微笑，時而因我們可怕的表情而露出了受驚嚇的神色。下臺時，我們把原先僵硬的臉蛋放輕松。此時，我們自然得露出了淺淺的微笑。

　　「萬歲！萬歲！我們入選了！」我們在三十二個參賽隊中勇奪第五名！這句話在我心中不停的吶喊著、打轉著，臉上同時浮現了混雜著驕傲與感動的神情。此刻，老師興奮的又叫又跳，還自掏腰包買可樂及冰淇淋犒賞我們，這一切都要感謝老師辛苦的教導及同學們合作無間的奮力演出，期許我們在決賽中能夠贏得更亮眼的成績。

　　There are so many sports we can play these days, but among them, I like to play basketball best. I learnt to play it when I was 11 years old.

　　Playing basketball can bring me some good friends, they have something in common with me, they always ask me to play it with them; And we can always share our skills together. We learnt what teamwork is from playing basketball. Sometimes we watch NBA games together, my favourite NBA star is Yao Ming, he is very modest, too.

　　We usually play basketball after school and on the weekends as well. I feel very happy when I pass my ball to my pals. We always cheer when we win the games.

　　I hope I can play basketball as well as Yao Ming someday in the future.

　　現在有很多的運動我們可以玩，但其中，我最喜歡打籃球。當我11歲的'時候，我學會了玩。

　　打籃球可以帶給我一些好朋友，他們和我有共同的東西，他們總是要求我和他們一起玩，我們可以一起分享我們的技能。我們學到了什么是團隊精神，從打籃球。有時我們一起看籃球比賽，我最喜歡的明星是姚明，他也很謙虛。
